Wheels at Wanaka

In 2025, we celebrate the final Wheels at Wanaka along with 100 Years of Caterpillar.

Terra Cat is the platinum partner of Wheels at Wanaka, an all-vehicle, all-machinery history-in-motion vintage fair - including steam engines, tractors and farming heritage, cars, motor-bikes, trucks, earthmovers and heavy machinery.

Buzzing with energy, Wheels at Wanaka is huge! With over 50 acres of entertainment, tractor pulling and Enduro-X competitions, ATV and rally car demos, an earthmoving extravaganza and a non-stop parade ground programme - a weekend is barely enough to see everything!

Wheels at Wanaka is proudly presented by ThreeParks Wanaka. See you there!

Christchurch Antarctic Network

Christchurch is one of only five Antarctic gateway cities in the world. As New Zealand’s Caterpillar dealer, we have been supporting Cat and other equipment on the ice since 1957. First as Gough Group, and now as Terra Cat, we are a business built on solid ground. We value our longstanding partnership and close relationship with the New Zealand and United States Antarctic Programmes. This includes servicing machines such as dozers, excavators and wheel loaders, and prime power and standby generators for dependable performance in one of the world’s most isolated environments.

Terra Cat also provides onsite asset repair and rebuild support to the McMurdo, South Pole, and Palmer Station facilities, while we have completed asset rebuild activity from our Christchurch facility to offer Cat equipment a second life and to conserve resources. Our Fluid Analytics laboratory provides data for mobile and fixed plant assets working at Antarctic stations, ensuring support for improved asset management throughout the equipment life cycle. We are proud of our ongoing partnership with the Antarctic network and that our current and future Caterpillar technology helps support the research community in Antarctica’s unique environment.
