General Manager Operations
Stephen Kelly has worked for Terra Cat since April 2020 and is based in Christchurch.
Before that, Stephen had more than 25 years of experience in New Zealand’s automotive industry as well as globally in Australia and the United Kingdom. While initially training in marine engine inboard and outboard parts, Stephen moved to automotive parts and then progressed through service and sales to dealership general management also gaining experience in marketing and finance.
Stephen’s responsibilities at Terra include:
The efficient running of Terra Cat’s 14 customer-facing branches plus its depots and resident field technicians nationwide
Maintaining high levels of customer, employee and asset experience
Prioritising the well-being and safety of employees across New Zealand through high standards of health and safety and risk awareness
In his role, Stephen values interactions with customers, understanding their needs and assisting in any resolutions required to ensure our products meet their expectations.
While not at work, Stephen enjoys time with his wife and three teenage daughters as well as taking time out to mountain bike in Christchurch’s Port Hills. He’s always been interested in travel and, with the borders now open, is planning future trips.
